Chloe was nominated as a Cool Clubber by her T15 Coach, Martin Day, due to her enthusiasm and dedication to windsurfing. Chloe attended the Rother Valley Renegades every day and due to this committment and practice, become the most improved person at the club.

The practice paid off and at her first ever T15 inter-club event she took second place in the 3.5m class. Now Chloe is even more enthusiastic and can't wait til the inter-club events kick off in 2004.

How old were you when you started windsurfing?
I was 9 years old when I started windsurfing at our local club at the beginning of the 2003 season.

What made you want to start windsurfing?
My dad windsurfs and it looked very exciting and fun so I gave it a go, and now I am hooked.

What equipment do you sail?
A Hi-fly Mambo with a 2.5 to 3.5 Rig that belongs to the club, but I am currently bugging my dad for a JP Young Gun and rig as I would love my own board and rig

Have you joined in with T15 inter-club events yet?
We had our first and only event of the North Zone(n) this summer, which was held at our club. I came second in the 3.5m class unfortunately just missing the first place spot by one point. I am also looking forward to the next season’s racing.

What is your best windsurfing moment?
Most definitely when I finished first place in the second heat of the 3.5m class race at our inter-club event. It left me tying in first place, which gave me a good shot of winning. Unfortunately I was accidentally cut up in the third heat that left me in a very credible second place.

Who or what has inspired you the most?
My dad who provides money, time and a taxi service and Martin Day, the best T15 coach there is.

Current move you are trying to master?
I am currently mastering the flare gybe.

Any windsurfing ambitions?
To become a junior T15 Champ.

Other hobbies?
I play football, Taekwondo and play the Piano.

Any hidden talents outside of windsurfing?
I play for Millmoor juniors under tens team (Rotherham United).

Favourite band/artist at the moment?
Although I like all kinds of music I especially like Busted and The Darkness.

Best TV show?
The sitcom, My Family.

Best movie ever seen?
Johnny English, Rowan Atkinson just kills me.

Read anything interesting lately?
Boards mag every month usually before my dad if I can get to it first.

Alive or dead, who would you most like to meet - and why?
The Moreno twins because they are the best and I would love to learn some hints and tricks from them.

Any idea what job you would like to do when you leave school?
I want to be a Marine Biologist as well as a professional windsurfer.

What do you like best about T15?
Having fun with my friends while learning new skills and improving.

We are the Champions!

ADOPT-A-BEACH

The Green Blue is an environmental awareness initiative by the British Marine Federation and the Royal Yachting Association. One of its aims is to educate and promote the sustainable use of coastal and inland waters by watersports participants.

Some of the initiatives have a relevance to windsurfers - especially in achieving cleaner seas and beaches.

Adopt-a-Beach is definitely relevant to T15ers, which is a Marine Conservation Society project supported by the Green Blue.
